CATC provides subsidized spay/neuter services for homeless and stray cats (also known as “community cats”) to support Trap-Neuter-Return efforts throughout Los Angeles City.
Community Cat Spay and Neuter
All spay/neuter services for Community Cats include pain meds, basic antibiotics (as needed ordered by a veterinarian), subcutaneous fluid administration, flea treatment, Rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, deworming (only as needed) and ear tipping.
Other surgeries such as laceration repair, eye removal surgery (enucleation), arm/leg/tail amputation may be offered for community cats only. Pricing may vary depending on the case.
Pricing without a subsidy or voucher is as followed:
Male Cat - $100
Female Cat - $120
Note: Payment is due the day services are performed. We accept cash, debit and credit cards. We do not accept checks. The Community Cat TNR program is not for pets, rescue/foster cats or other tame cats. It is specifically for the homeless, feral, and stray cats in our community who do not have a proper home.
Subsidized spay/neuter services for community cats are provided by appointment only.
