Pricing for Community Cats

SERVICE PRICING FOR COMMUNITY CATs

CATC provides subsidized spay/neuter services for homeless and stray cats (also known as “community cats”) to support Trap-Neuter-Return efforts throughout Los Angeles City and County. These services are made possible through the generous support of FixNation and are available while funding remains. We also accept CCP vouchers as a form of payment.

Community Cat Spay and Neuter

All spay/neuter services for Community Cats include pain meds, basic antibiotics (as needed ordered by a veterinarian), subcutaneous fluid administration, flea treatment, Rabies vaccine, FVRCP vaccine, deworming (only as needed) and ear tipping.

Other surgeries such as laceration repair, eye removal surgery (enucleation), arm/leg/tail amputation may be offered for community cats only. Pricing may vary depending on the case.

Note: Payment is due the day services are performed. We accept cash, debit and credit cards. We do not accept checks. The Community Cat TNR program is not for pets, rescue/foster cats or other tame cats. It is specifically for the homeless, feral, and stray cats in our community who do not have a proper home.

Subsidized spay/neuter services for community cats are provided by appointment only. To request an appointment, you must first complete a free training session with CATC to become an approved trapper. This training will prepare you to safely trap and transport cats before and after surgery.
